Hace algunas semanas, el músico chileno Syntrovert (Santiago Marín) estrenó “Loreto”, el primer single de lo que será su próximo trabajo discográfico a ser editado por el sello Discos Pegaos. Hoy, el lanzamiento toma un nuevo vuelo con el estreno oficial del videoclip.
Con una impecable y particular animación a cargo de DMNC, el trabajo audiovisual de “Loreto” nos transporta a un viaje tridimensional e inmersivo a lo primitivo. Situado en la naturaleza y con nada más que radiantes cristales conjugándose entre sí, cada beat nos impulsa a navegar en una íntima y mágica introspección hacia lo esencial, siguiendo el guión que Syntrovert ha sabido conjugar en su EP, próximo a estrenarse por Discos Pegaos.
En palabras de la misma Syntrovert, «El video relata un viaje por distintos lugares oníricos, en los cuales los cuarzos (que representan la identidad y el cuerpo del proyecto) realizan “coreografías” y transmutan mientras van siendo intervenidos por el mundo exterior y la vida que ahí habita. Para luego poder incorporar toda esta sabiduría y conocerse mejor a sí misme. También representa todo el viaje que ha significado tanto producir estos álbumes, como mi carrera en general».
DMNC, el artista encargado de plasmar el énfasis creativo de Syntrovert en el clip es una carta conocida en la escena chilena audiovisual, destacando siempre por un trabajo ligado a la vanguardia y el uso creativo de tecnologías para transportarnos con su obra a universos únicamente posibles gracias a su lectura personal del mundo y la imagen.
Syntrovert en el último tiempo ha destacado tanto en el circuito underground local como global, anticipando lo que será su primer EP por esta casa discográfica: “Amuleto”, trabajo que recogerá su evolución como artista bajo los beats de la electrónica latina.
A few weeks ago, the Chilean musician Syntrovert (Santiago Marín) premiered “Loreto”, the first single of what will be his next album to be released by the Discos Pegaos label. Today, the launch takes a new flight with the official premiere of the video clip.
With an impeccable and particular animation by DMNC, the audiovisual work of «Loreto» transports us on a three-dimensional and immersive journey to the primitive. Located in nature and with nothing but radiant crystals conjugating each other, each beat prompts us to navigate in an intimate and magical introspection towards the essential, following the script that Syntrovert has been able to combine in his EP, soon to be released by Discos Pegaos.
In the words of Syntrovert herself, «The video tells a journey through different dreamlike places, in which the quartz (representing the identity and body of the project) perform «choreographies» and transmute while being intervened by the outside world and the life that lives there. In order to later be able to incorporate all this wisdom and get to know myself better. It also represents the entire journey that producing these albums has meant as much as my career in general.»
DMNC, the artist in charge of capturing Syntrovert’s creative emphasis in the clip is a well-known card in the Chilean audiovisual scene, always standing out for a work linked to the avant-garde and the creative use of technologies to transport us with his work to universes only possible thanks to his personal reading of the world and the image.
In recent times, Syntrovert has stood out both in the local and global underground circuit, anticipating what will be his first EP by this record company: “Amuleto”, a work that will collect his evolution as an artist under the beats of Latin electronic music.
