DLC, seudónimo de Diego Linsambarth Cartagena, nos presenta “Bajo Nuestro Pies”, EP con inspiración en la comunicación existente entre árboles, hongos y otras formas de vida, mediante complejas redes interconectadas bajo tierra.
Conocido por sus proyectos anteriores; Diego Robot y Tecnología Para Ser Libres, y por ser parte fundamental del netlabel Vaguada Costera, Linsambarth sorprende con un EP que muestra las bondades de muchos años de trabajo, en dónde experimenta con sonidos profundos y beats sintéticos.
Con el foco central puesto en la naturaleza y el mundo desconocido que pisamos bajo nuestros pies, la producción es un ejercicio que invita a replantearnos con mayor profundidad la relación entre seres humanos y el entorno que habitamos. DLC nos lleva a la reflexión e imaginación a través de samples, ritmos y texturas.
Compuesto por 4 tracks que dejan ver las influencias de las corrientes inglesas de música electrónica (el llamado continuum hardcore) como el Uk drill o el Uk garage. Los tracks van apropiándose de esa estética desde una perspectiva sudamericana y una fuerte carga narrativa por medio de citas y texturas que nos hacen viajar por ese imaginario científico que tanto gusta a DLC.
Cabe destacar también las colaboraciones de los músicos y productores Ian Poulsen (aka Total 90) con su guitarra en el track “Flowers”, y a Estasi Assoluto por realizar la masterización del álbum.
Bajo nuestros pies pone en relevancia a un productor que, en las sombras, ha ido tejiendo un sonido personal desde esta parte del mundo, y que tiene guardado muchas sorpresas para el futuro cercano.

DLC, Diego Linsambarth Cartagena’s pseudonym, presents “Bajo Nuestro Pies”, an EP inspired by the communication between trees, fungi and other forms of life, through complex interconnected networks underground.
Known for his previous projects; Diego Robot and Tecnología Para Ser Libres, and for being a fundamental part of the Vaguada Costera netlabel, Linsambarth surprises with an EP that shows the benefits of many years of work and experimentation with deep sounds and synthetic beats.
With the main focus on nature and the unknown world that we tread under our feet, this release is an exercise that invites us to rethink in greater depth the relationship between human beings and the environment we inhabit. DLC leads us to reflection and imagination through samples, rhythms and textures.
Made-up of 4 tracks that reveal the influences of British currents of electronic music (the so-called continuum hardcore) such as the Uk drill or the Uk garage. The tracks appropriate the aesthetics from a South American perspective and a strong narrative load through quotes and textures that make us travel through that scientific imaginary which DLC is so fond of.
Also noteworthy are the collaborations with the musicians and producers Ian Poulsen (aka Total 90) playing guitar on the track “Flowers”, and Estasi Assoluto for mastering the album.
‘Bajo Nuestros Pies’ highlights a producer who, in the shadows, has been weaving a personal sound from this part of the world, and who has many surprises in store for the upcoming future.
